Córdoba's gastronomic restaurants push Andalusian cooking into new territory — multi-course tasting menus, Michelin stars and ingredients sourced from the Sierra and the huerta.
Córdoba's fine dining scene is small but extraordinary. Noor, the city's Michelin-starred flagship, recreates the cuisine of Al-Andalus through a contemporary lens — expect courses built around ingredients like saffron, pomegranate and lamb that trace back to the 10th-century Caliphate. Choco, another Michelin star holder, draws from the Guadalquivir valley with seasonal tasting menus that balance technique and terroir. Beyond the starred restaurants, a handful of chef-driven spots offer creative Andalusian cuisine at prices that would be considered mid-range in most European capitals: multi-course dinners from €35–65 featuring local olive oils, Ibérico pork, and wines from the Montilla-Moriles denomination. Reservations are essential at the top tables, especially on weekends and during festival season.
